COVID-19 Vaccination Information – Booster Vaccines
We are pleased to have reached an agreement whereby our patients can visit the Thanet (SAGA) hub for their COVID-19 Booster vaccinations. Our Practice Staff will work alongside other practices at this hub to deliver the vaccinations, which are to be given at least 6 months after the 2nd dose vaccination.
The Thanet hub has excellent parking facilities and is easily accessible for all patients. Appointments are staggered to allow for social distancing.
We will be using an electronic booking system – so if you receive a text from your GP Practice with the SAGA hub address, please do follow the instructions in the text to book your appointment. You can also book via the National Booking System https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/coronavirus-vaccination/book-coronavirus-vaccination/ or by calling 119.
In line with Government guidance, care home residents and housebound patients will be prioritised and will be visited for their booster vaccines. The first patients to be invited for their booster vaccines at SAGA will be those aged 50 and over, frontline health and social care workers and those in at at-risk group. You will be contacted when you are eligible to book, please bear in mind that you cannot book your vaccine unless it is six months since your second dose.
